ISLAMABAD: BOL, a new television channel likely to be launched later this year, is offering attractive packages and benefits in a bid to attract the right people.

In a full page advertisement published in Dawn Sunday, the channel claims it is “the best media network to work for.”

According to their website, BOL is a complete media enterprise consisting of platforms that are important and relevant to audience, including television (News, Entertainment and Sports), Digital Media (Web, Social Media & Media Apps), Print Media (Newspaper and Magazines), Cinemas & Movies, Theatre and Radio.

With a massive launch and a clear social development objective, BOL is all set to bring a revolution in Pakistan’s media industry, the channel's managers claim.

The new media enterprise is offering highest salaries far above the industry average and bonus of up to four gross salaries, provident fund and EOBI, says the advertisement.

There will transport ranging from air-conditioned and Wi-Fi equipped pick and drop vans to brand new company-maintained Mercedes-Benz car with fuel allowance.

Also being offered is complete healthcare for the employees, spouses, kids and even parents besides interest-free loans for house and genset and life insurance cover.

The vacancies advertised on the news side are for the positions of director news, news directors, analysts, anchors/program hosts, program producers, controller news, cameramen, programming and strategy, bureau chiefs, news reporters and correspondents.

On the entertainment side, the positions advertised are for directors, pre/post production, producers, director of photography, script writers and actors.
