PESHAWAR: Another journalist at DawnNews Peshawar Bureau has parted ways with the organization – the fifth reporter to do so in just three months, reports say.
Those in the know tell JournalismPakistan.com that Alvena Khan, the only female reporter in the office quit on February 17 citing low salary as one of the reasons. Imran Hassan, a cameraman, is also reported to have quit.
Earlier, reporters Mumtaz Bangash, Fakhruddin Syed, Alamdar Sayed, and Ziaur Rehman also resigned.
DawnNews continues to be a disaster from day one. As it surrenders itself to commercial needs, content wise it is going nowhere. These days it seems it's a horse without a rider.
