PESHAWAR: More than 120 foreign and Pakistan journalists are to attend the International Sports Journalists Congress here from January 18-20.

Hosted by Pakistan Sports Writers’ Federation (PSWF), the congress will also see 26 delegates from 12 countries, among them president Asian Sports Journalists Association and the senior vice president of International Sports Journalists Association (AIPS).

Amjad Aziz Malik, the PSWF General Secretary tells JournalismPakistan.com officials of national sports federations will also attend the congress.

“The aim of organizing this big event is to analyze why Pakistan sport is on the decline and to find ways to regain lost honors,” Amjad said.

Preparations to host the congress successfully are in the final stages, PSWF said.
