KARACHI - Senior journalists Masoom Usmani, who worked for several television channels during an eventful career, died in Karachi Monday of a heart attack. He was 68.
In a career spanning 35 years, Usmani remained associated with Pakistan Television (PTV), Geo, Roshni TV, Aaj News and Apna channels.
He was a serving member of the Geo News Editorial Board, news reports said.
His colleagues described him as a thorough professional and an honest person whom they said would be greatly missed.
The deceased has left behind his wife, two sons, and a daughter to mourn his death.
