ISLAMABAD – Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain, who was reported to be having problems at BOL News, was Tuesday named the channel’s executive president and executive anchor.
Insiders tell JournalismPakistan.com the doctor will be hosting a “punchy and spicy” hardcore news show – the first of its kind in Pakistan.
One of the key issues Dr Aamir reportedly had at BOL earlier on was he wanted to bring his entire team along. However, the management did not agree to this.
The doctor of 'Aalim Online' fame then conspicuously went of screen and headed to Dubai for a few days. But now it is clear the matters between the two parties have been sorted out.
BOL is currently in its test transmission phase and plans for a formal launch before the end of the year.
If my call is so important to them, why don’t they answer it for 22 minutes?
