KABUL: Afghan President Hamid Karzai is reported to have ordered “a full investigation” into the shooting of two Associated Press (AP) journalists in eastern Afghanistan Friday.
Media reports quoting a statement from the presidential palace said “Karzai was grieved” by the incident. A man dressed as a policeman shot the two foreign journalists in a remote town in Khost province. German war photographer Anja Niedringhaus was killed while Canadian journalist Kathy Gannon was injured.
