A JournalismPakistan.com source says that anchors Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui, Samina Pasha and Junaid Haleem were among those sacked.
Other journalists laid off are: Shakir Solangi (political beat reporter in Islamabad), Anis Sheikh (business head/anchor), Mustansar Sulehri (Assignment Editor), Shah Hussain Naqvi (Assignment Editor OSR), Ahsan Gillani (head of international desk), Shahid Shah (Senior Producer/Input) and three NLEs.
