QUETTA – Kharan Press Club in Balochistan has been shut down for an indefinite period and all its activities postponed following threats from an armed Baloch group.
The decision was taken at a club meeting chaired by President Safar Khan Raskoi.
The armed group has threatened the club’s office-bearers and members. The meeting expressed concern over the threats.
The house agreed to decide on a future course of action in consultation with the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), Balochistan Union of Journalists, and the Quetta Press Club.
If my call is so important to them, why don’t they answer it for 22 minutes?
