When it comes to entertainment, the general thinking among journalists is that this beat relates to only Bollywood, Lollywood and Hollywood. This is far from true. Entertainment has a very broad scope and therefore requires an open mind and out of the box approach when it comes to reporting on it. One can be casual yet informative, witty yet incisive, critical yet constructive.
It is good that the newspapers and television channels are continuing to mature as far as coverage of entertainment goes but there remains room for improvement and JP is there for those that believe in going one step better.
