I can’t take credit for this because it is sent by a friend who just loves dispatching forwards, most of which I delete with no feelings of guilt. Especially those pass on to 10 people or a lightning bolt will strike you stuff and it is such an imposition and should be banned by law.
But a few of these are really worth following. Take this one…and the next one…and the next one.
Going to a house of worship doesn't make you any more religious than standing in a garage makes you a car.
Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire, but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?
My favorite story is about the hunter who said to a bunch of young listeners: ”There I was on the plain, not a bush, not a tree, nothing in sight but flat land and this lion came at me at full pelt. I had one bullet and it misfired. The lion roared. I dropped my rifle and ran for a tree, clambering up as fast as I could.”
“Hey,” said one of the listeners, “You said there were no trees.”
“Aha,” said the hunter, “There is always a tree, you only have to look for it.”
