So I am lying in bed fighting this flipping bronchial thing and thinking okay what bugs me besides being unwell and helpless. So I make my 10 commandments of dirty people. Could be you.
Thou shalt not fling soda cans, crumpled packets of uneaten food and other garbage from your car window onto the highway. Not only does it scare the heck out of the guy behind you and lead to accidents, it’s disgusting and thoughtless. And what makes you think that the wide world is your garbage bin?
Thou shalt read the signage on aircraft toilets and follow their spirit: keep the toilets clean for the next passenger. Can’t you read, you cretin? And the same applies for all public toilets. Do not throw chewing gum into the urinals, some other human being has to pick it up. Try and be civilised… at least try.
Thou shall risk being boiled in hot oil if you spit, spew, spray any colored saliva into a public area nor cast out buckets of slop water onto the roads. That includes paan, tobacco juice, all other slurpy stuff. Sick.
Thou shalt clean the house but not at the expense of the neighbors by dumping your muck into their space. See, see my house is clean so what if yours is dirty, nor see corridors and stairwells as convenient mobile wastepaper baskets for all your squishy stuff. Yechhhh.
Thou shalt respect picnic spots be they beaches or parks or landmarks and clean up after the fun, not leave half eaten packets of food and drink lying about the place. Kilroy was not here, there is no need to leave evidence of your presence. Go away. And take your crap with you.
Thou shalt accept without argument that still lit cigarette butts are dangerous when thrown from moving vehicles, high rise balconies and staircases… are you that stupid? Yes, you are. We see it all the time, flick, flick, not my problem.
Thou shalt see Municipality garbage bins as receptacles that receive garbage not as centre-points around which garbage is left or strewn as if it was window dressing. Throw the bag into the bin: do you need a PhD to make the connect.
Thou shalt use one’s brain cells to figure out that plastic bags, thermacol coffee cups and fast food boxes and all the tissues that come with them are not always degradable and should not be thrown on the streets so why do you do it. And disposable straws are to be disposed, not dropped on the road.
Thou shalt not throw your refuse out of your windows, over the fence, into the sink, from your pockets into public places nor rinse your washing into the neighbor’s verandah or let the dirty water from cleaning floors drip onto the flat downstairs.
Thou shalt love one’s pets but not their poop and if they do it in public it is your bounden duty to scoop it up.
Now clean up your act.

If my call is so important to them, why don’t they answer it for 22 minutes?
