ISLAMABAD—People on social media have shown extreme anger and displeasure over a video statement by anchor Imran Khan.
He tried to justify that Noor Muqaddam was responsible for her brutal murder due to her lifestyle.
According to him, she had only communicated with her father three times in the last six months, while she communicated with Zahir Jaffer, her murderer, numerous times.
The anchor said the relationship between Muqaddam and Jaffer was against the teachings of Islam and local traditions. His statement caused outrage.
