KARACHI: The Express Media Group plans to close down Times TV, just over three months after its launch. Insiders cite financial constraints as the reason for the closure that could come as early as September 15.
Launched on June 1, Times had promised to strike a balance between entertainment and news and offer a range of programs for all kinds of viewers. But it never lived up to that promise.
Times had replaced another of the Express Group’s failed projects – Hero TV that was shut down earlier this year. It had hit the airwaves in June 2012.
Similarly, the Group also abruptly closed its English language channel Express 24/7 in late 2011.
If my call is so important to them, why don’t they answer it for 22 minutes?
How come when I want to, but something specific online is the only item out of stock.
When I get into a queue or lane going fast, the moment I get in, it becomes the slowest and refuses to budge.
