ISLAMABAD - Reham Khan who until recently hosted a program on Neo TV has denied she was sacked by the channel because of low ratings.
Pakistan Today reported she was also angry that her current affairs show was taken off air without prior notice. Reham, ex-wife of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, hosted the program 'Tabdeeli Reham Khan Kay Saath'. She remained associated with Neo for less than six months.
Earlier reports had said she was sacked while on a private trip to England.
However, she said on Twitter that Neo had not paid its staff salaries for two months.
"People asking me what’s happening at Neo but I don’t know as the channel management hasn’t had the courtesy to communicate to me," she said in another tweet.
She defended her program saying: "Tabdeeli program on Neo secured a place 20 Times in Top 5 out of 100 programs including 3 Top 5 Hatrick ratings out of 4 in a week."
