ISLAMABAD: BOL News website still hosts profiles and credentials of the heavyweights-turned-weaklings who opted to quit just as the Axact scandal surfaced.
Kamran Khan, Azhar Abbas, Asma Shirazi, Wajahat S. Khan and Iftikhar Ahmed quit the channel after The New York Times published an alleged fake diplomas scam about Axact, the parent company of BOL.
Talking to different media channels, these senior journalists said their conscience was not allowing them to continue their work with the upcoming channel following the controversy.
However, the BOL website bolnetwork.com still boasts of their piety and professionalism.
On the other hand, the channel's management and staff appear to be in high spirits and are said to be working hard to launch the channel on Ramadan 1 despite negative propaganda by rival channels.
