LONDON: Roslyn Morris, Secretary General of the International Sports Journalists Association (AIPS), appreciated the efforts being made by Sports Journalists Association of Sindh (SJAS) for promotion of sports and welfare of its members.
According to www.thesportsnext.com, Rashid Ali Siddiqui, President SJAS, called on Roslyn during the ongoing London Olympic Games and exchanged with her views of mutual interests.
She was briefed on the 3rd PSWF Congress, held in Karachi from June 1 to 3, 2012.
Rashid also informed her about the sorry state of affairs of Pakistan Sports Writers Federation (PSWF) and said Amjad Aziz Malik, Secretary General PSWF had sabotaged the Congress with his negative attitude which resulted in Sindh and Islamabad (RISJA) units parting ways with the present PSWF set-up.
Roslyn promised to help resolve the issues facing sports journalists in Pakistan. She later presented Rashid the ‘History Book of AIPS’ and an AIPS pin.
