SARGODHA: A grenade was hurled by unidentified assailants Monday evening at the bureau office of Express News Television in Sargodha that left a security guard injured.
Reports said the office building was slightly damaged in the attack that came just days after a similar attack on Din News Television office in Lahore. Two policemen and an employee were wounded. Earlier in November, there was a grenade attack on Dunya News office in Faisalabad that injured three employees.
The Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) condemned Monday's attack and announced holding a protest Tuesday.
